On April 22, the 51st Earth Day, Funiushan UNESCO Global Geopark organized publicity activities on the theme of “Cherish the Earth, Live in Harmony with Nature”.

On the day, Funiushan UGGP worked together with volunteers to organized a series of science popularization activities through information desk, banners, exhibition boards, information materials. This is a good opportunity to inform the visitors of “World Earth Day” as well as China’s basic national conditions and policies of the forestry system, laws and regulations on forestry resources management, prevention and control of geological heritage, protection of geological heritage and geological tourism. Considering the current situation that COVID-19 has been fully controlled in China but is still raging in other countries, they called on everyone to cherish the earth, care for wild animals and plants and conserve non-renewable geological resources. During the publicity, the staff and volunteers patiently answered questions with details, which were welcomed by the masses and achieved good publicity results.
