From September 15 to 16, a delegation of 15 people from Funiushan UGGp visited Zigong UGGp for exchanging experiences.

 Zigong UGGp is located in Zigong City, Sichuan Province, which is known as "the Millennium Salt City, the Hometown of Dinosaurs, and the Lantern City in the South". It is the second world-class geopark in Sichuan Province and the first world-class geopark named after city in China. In 2008, it was officially approved to join the Global Geopark Network by UNESCO, and it is a global geopark featuring the famous Middle Jurassic dinosaur fossil sites and the well salt sites with a long history, supplemented by the landscape of spinulosa relict plant group known as "living fossil" and integrating Zigong's rich history and culture.

The members of the delegation gained a new understanding of innovation through the investigation of various sites and the discussion and exchange with Zigong UGGp Administration and Zigong Dinosaur Museum. Funiushan UGGp will build a popular science practice base with "dinosaur" as the geological theme in the future work, organize various interactive lectures on popular science, strengthen the cooperation between the Geopark and geological universities, museums and research institutes at home and abroad, and rely on the strong support of the municipal party committee and government to organically combine the geological relics, human history and characteristic industries in this area to promote the sustainable development of the park. It also plan to hold the "2021 Dinosaur Fossil Culture Week and Dinosaur Cultural Travel Alliance Product Exhibition" in Xixia Park in 2021, with the slogan of "Polishing Dinosaur Business Card, Raising Industrial Dragon Tails and Making Dinosaurs Live" as the slogan to strengthen the protection, research and utilization of dinosaur fossils.
