In order to comprehensively popularize the technology knowledge on earth science, publicize the national policy on China’s land and resources, and enhance the awareness of protecting and saving resources, a variety of well-organized promotion activities were carried out in Nanyang City during the 47th Earth Day, focused on “protecting and saving resources, promoting a green and simple life”.

        Staff from Neixiang County Land and Resources Bureau took the time of tour rush season, launched geological science popularization activities in local scenery spots and geological museums, which enabled visitors to understand the importance of the harmonious coexistence of human living environment and natural ecological environment, thus increasing the visitors’ awareness of consciously loving and protecting natural ecological environment.

        Xixia County Land and Resources Bureau coordinated the Dinosaur Relic Park to open the park to local teenagers for free charge for a week, and conducted activities of “a special exhibition”, “a scientific report” and “a teenager interaction event”, which increased local people’s understanding of protecting ecological environment and the value of their land and resources.
