Recently, Neixiang County held the Review Meeting of the geological heritage protection project of the Baotianman Park Area in Funiushan UNESCO Global Geopark. Liang Shiyun, Li Zhaoming, the deputy director of the Provincial Department of Land and Resources, Song Yunli,the director of the project office, and more than 20 people came from the member of the expert group, the project construction unit, the cooperation unit, the supervision unit, the Nanyang Land and Resources Bureau and the Neixiang Land and Resources Bureau attended the meeting.

    The project was supported by the central financial funds in 2009 and the Neixiang county Land and Resources Bureau was in charge of the whole implementation of the project. Henan Academy of Land and Resources was responsible for the technical work of the project including design and implementation. In July 25, 2012, through public bidding, the Zhengzhou Geological Engineering Survey Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Engineering became the construction unit of the project, and the Henan Tianyi Project Supervision and Consultation Co., Ltd. was the project supervision unit. Through organization and close cooperation with local governments, a total of 3 561 meters of connecting trails are completed, 12418 cubic meters of earthwork in geological sections are cleaned up, and 64 square meters of 4 places are built for the observatory, 13 blocks, 6 geological relics protection cards, 6 warning signs and 42 traffic guide boards are set up, and 2 relic site sections are investigated and measured, 5000 copies of the guidebook are printed, and  3000 copies of the popular science propaganda pamphlets are printed on five different themes to meet the requirements of the project.

    Through the fierce argument and discussion of the members of the expert group, the project has passed.
